Operation of company dormitory

ARKRAY has been operating a dormitory for employees working at our Kyoto Laboratory since April 2023. Employees up to their third year with the company can move into the dormitory and live together.
Breakfast service by a chef is available on weekdays, supporting dietary habits that tend to be unbalanced due to factors such as changes in the environment. In the shared space, events such as movie viewings on a large screen television and communal dining are held to deepen interaction among employees.

Fostering "vertical and horizontal connections" is another purpose of our company dormitory, and employees other than residents also gather in this shared space for events such as dining parties and celebratory gatherings. We believe that having opportunities to interact with each other away from work will help build relationships that make it easier for employees to consult with each other and put forward proposals at work.

Using the lawn space in the courtyard, residents voluntarily plan and hold various events aimed at enhancing the enjoyment of communal living, such as barbecues, nagashi somen (a fun way to enjoy the famous Japanese summer dish in which noodles flowing down a bamboo waterslide are caught using chopsticks), vegetable gardening, and keeping Japanese killifish.
The planning and holding of such events not directly related to work can also lead to growth of project management skills.

ARKRAY will continue to strive to enhance employee job satisfaction by providing them with opportunities to take on various challenges in addition to creating a comfortable work environment.
